LEA FEKETE (BORN 1961, BRATISLAVA) BELONGS TO A GROUP OF ARTISTS WHICH EMERGED FROM THE MID 1980’S AND HELPED TO ESTABLISH FASHION DESIGN IN SLOVAKIA.
She founded her label in 1991, opened her store in Bratislava in 1997 and is recognised as one of the few experimentally minded designers with an authentic style.
Timelessness, elements of architecture, elegant tailoring and close attention to detail are the basic characteristics of Lea Fekete’s work.
She is known for her multi genre approach — cooperating with various brands, working as a costume designer for film, theatre and ballet, creating original textile artworks or designing own jewellery range.
